By the 23rd of November 2013, companies sponsoring employees on 457 visa will be required to provide evidence of attempt to hire Australian Citizens and Australian Permanent Residents before recruiting for overseas workers. The details on what the acceptable evidences will be released by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection on or before its effective date.
